Mark Blakeslee
Mark has been a long time recreational mountain bike rider for 25 years, While working the finish line at Rim Nordic for 3 years he kept wondering if he could possibly keep up with those guys.  After a few successful Super Ds and a trial XC race at Rim Nordic; Mark decided at age 60 it was time to go for it.  With the help of Derek and the Bear Valley Bikes staff, Mark got set up with a new Specialized 29er, and finished first in all 3 Kenda Cup races he entered, and all the XC and Super D races at Rim Nordic for the Cat. 2 60-64 age class in 2011.  Feeling he was more closely matched to the Cat. 1 60-64 competitors, he stepped up to Cat. 1 for the Rim Nordic Autumn Cup, finishing first.  Mark finished off 2011 at the Specialized Cup State Championship with a 2nd place finish. Mark is hoping to get through winter in better shape than last year so he is ready to compete with the youngsters in 2013.

Wonder if you can help please I’m looking for a used hanebrink all terrain or an extreme fat tire bike, the pedal / non electric version. As you’re probably aware they were made in big bear so I’m hoping you can point me in the right direction for one.
    Many thanks
